Automotive Machining

For automotive companies to remain profitable in a highly competitive market, adaptability is a critical characteristic. Often times, this need requires KLH to handle large heights and weights, while holding precision tolerances on high quantities.

KLH has been servicing the automotive industry’s demand for high volumes of parts with tool and die machining, in the shape of progressive dies, stamping dies, form dies, and draw dies. Not just building dies, but also the rapid repair and modification of non-functioning or broken dies.

Provided there is enough stock material, KLH can sharpen a worn die to like-new conditions. In extreme conditions, where a die is worn beyond sharpening, KLH can utilize one of two large CMM inspection machines to reverse engineer the completed final part.
