Conflict Minerals Policy

KLH hereby pledges to not knowingly purchase or use raw materials composed of "conflict minerals."

As industrial demand for minerals increases, armed groups jockey for control of valuable mines and transportation routes, imposing inflated "taxes" on those involved. The eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, for example, suffers from turmoil due to natural abundance of resources that produce tantalum, tin, and tungsten.

As a service provider, KLH may not always control the purchasing of raw material. When responsible, KLH will communicate our desire to refrain from purchasing "conflict minerals."

KLH encourages customers to take an interest in the Conflict Minerals Trade Act. Know the true cost of your raw materials.
